Crocheted by hand and set with 3 freshwater pearl eggs per nest, every piece is a one off. The silver picks up the light. The fine silver is whiter than sterling, so as it twists and turns to make the crocheted nest, it catches the light, bouncing it around the pearls, enhancing the pearls' natural glow.
Each nest measures approximately 1cm across and each creamy potato pearl is 3-4mm, hung on sterling silver chain, from the sterling silver ear hook. They drop to 2cm, so delicate, subtle and just a little bit whimsical. Click HERE to go to the limited edition Easter nest necklace.
These fruitful little nests hold 3 freshwater pearl eggs each. What will hatch from yours? I like to think miniature mistle thrushes, but my daughter insists they will be Whisper Dragons, which are apparently so tiny they’re often mistaken for dragonflies. Who knew?
